About Me & Armenia

aboutme

This last season of my life has been incredible. I have now traveled to Haiti, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Republic of Georgia, Moldova and Armenia. I also was able to take part in the relief efforts to Hurricane Ike. I cannot put into words what God has done in me, and more importantly, in the lives of others. I began this journey understanding God would change me, and the change has now become a growing burden. It is a deep passion for the poor and forgotten people of this world. God has enabled me to see the great needs that people around the world face each day and He is calling me to do something. Compassion ministry opens the door to relationships with people, allowing the love of Christ to be revealed.

I have been invited to return to Armenia. Because of the growing burden inside me, I clearly see this as God’s direction for my life. A missionary family, Nick and Olivia Puccini, and their son, Oliver, have been in Armenia for five years. They have vision and passion to see Armenia changed, but need help. They have invited me to head relief and development of humanitarian aid projects and compassion ministry. Their desire is to combine compassion ministry with new church plants as an outreach to the unreached people groups.

With prayer and seeking much counsel, I am very excited about this new call. God gave me a deep love for the Armenian people when I was there, and now I realize why. God was preparing me to return before it was even an idea. Presently, I am in Washington until I raise funds for 2 years of service to Armenia.

Here are some of the Armenia Team Ministry Goals:
* To strengthen indigenous ministries through partnerships in training, the development of literature resources, and through intentional relational interaction.
* To proactively discover methods by which we can more effectively reach unreached segments of Armenia.
* To integrate compassion ministry with reaching the unreached and planting new churches.

I cannot thank you enough for supporting me. I know God will bless you for the sacrifice you have already made to help me go, and I pray that He will continue to do so. I would now ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with me again as I take the next step in faith to touch the people of Armenia. I can’t make it there without you! Please use the “SUPPORT ME” page to let me know how you might be able to support (both new & current supporters can use the form on this page). I have the ability for you to setup automated support that happens monthly. My commitment in Armenia is for 2 years.

You are making a difference,

Chad Isenhart

Current Ministry Projects in Armenia
* Ministry Training – A bachelors diploma granting training program has been established in partnership with the national church to train those who are actively in ministry. 240 pastors, assistant pastors, church planters and missionaries are taking one intensive week of classes every two months.
* Church Planting – launch 4-5 new churches per year in strategic communities
* Study Bible – Life Publishers has partnered with our team to prepare the first ever study bible in the Armenia language.
* Compassion Ministry – developing projects in the three most economically depressed areas of Armenia to bring relief and hope to those overlooked by society. A project has been launched among the Kurdish villages of the Aragats Mt. plateau to provide clean and accessible water. Plans are also underway to establish a health clinic in proximity to the Kurdish villages. Partnering with the Armenian Relief and Development Assoc. (ARDA) Golgotha Church of Vanadzor, and Habitat Armenia to build homes in the 1988 earthquake region.
* Student Ministry – A burden for the tens of thousands of students, including thousands of Iranians, Iragis, Syrians, and others who come to Armenia to study. To establish a relevant ministry that includes interns and workers from the U.S. and Europe, as well as young Armenians, who will reach out through relationship to bring the hope of Christ to a whole new generation.
* Missions – Armenia is a nation surrounded by opportunity. It is an island in a sea of Islam, strategically located to have an eternal impact on some of the most unreached nations on earth. The young people of Armenia are feeling the call to go and give their lives to see the light shine in the darkest of places. Currently working to establish a missionary sending program that will assist the young families to realize their calling.
